Full description

Ready stretched screenprinting screen. Wooden screen. The screen dimensions indicated refer to the OUTER edge (i.e. including the frame).

What do we mean by a wooden screen?

The characteristic that sets wooden screens apart is their lightness. However, their weakness is their durability in comparison with iron frames.

How to send your file for screen printing

When preparing your file, follow these two easy steps:

1) The design needs to be in its actual print size (1:1)
2) Save the file as a jpg, tiff, pdf, ai, or eps.

If you are sending us a vectorial file, please make sure you’ve converted any text to outlines.
If you save the file as a .jpg, please ensure the resolution is 300 dpi.

Remember: 1 file -> 1 colour -> 1 screen

If you are having difficulty separating the colours, please e-mail us at info@cplfabbrika.com

How to choose the screen on the basis of the design.

To calculate the working area from the dimension of the design, do as follows:
The minimum dimensions required to obtain the appropriate working area on the basis of your design are:

(A) Squeegee direction 13 cm + (A) + 13 cm = Working area

(B) Other direction 10 cm + (B) + 10 cm = Working area

How to choose the mesh count based on the definition of the design.
For designs with line size of 0.4 mm: mesh count greater than 32T
For designs with line size of 0.3 mm: mesh count greater than 43T
For designs with line size of 0.2 mm: mesh count greater than 90T

After you’ve placed the order, you’ll receive an e-mail confirming the exact dimensions of your design together with the sample file containing the design in your chosen screen. We’ll await your final confirmation, before proceeding with processing your screen.

Answer to the question from Daniel

To print correctly with water-based ink, we recommend using screens up to a maximum of 55T.

The ideal mesh count for our water-based inks, such as Texprint or Modatex, is 55T.
